"My First 101 Gujarati Words" is a picture board book 8 inches by 8 inches with the intent of teaching Gujarati to your little ones! The book contains some of the most commonly used words that every child starting to learn Gujarati should know along with bright colorful images to help your child associate the words with pictures. Words and images include pages for Colors, Numbers, Shapes, Days of the Week, Animals, Fruit, Vegetables, Body Parts, Action Words, Descriptive Words, Family, and Indian Holidays! As a first generation American born Indian with children of my own, I felt it extremely important for my kids to learn and be able to interact in Gujarati. The language is part of their heritage and I am hoping that it will help jump start further interest into our rich Indian culture.
